Never again

In light of the events transpiring in the Middle East, I’ve been amazed at the amount of people across social media that claim they had no knowledge of a raging war in Israel. So I’m here, writing my first blog, taking a stand for Israel.

It’s 1941 and the world looked on and ignored the plight of 6million Jews who were  being persecuted and murdered in their homes and sent to concentration camps like Auschwitz, Dachau, Bergen-Belsen and twenty others. The world looked on in silent horror or disregard as Jewish families were tortured, abused, and killed. This mass destruction targeted children, babies, mothers, grandparents, and the world stood by as humanity was erased. Survivors and sympathizers were strengthened by their faith and swore “never again”.

It’s 2023, 82 years since those horrific events, and yet another antisemitic genocide is happening, and being widely broadcasted and I’ve heard many people say “I didn’t know there was a war”. Your coordinations right now may mean nothing to you in the bigger picture, and you may have the mindset of “it’s not my problem, or what can I do from here?”

“Scripture declares that, spiritually speaking, when you receive the Lord, you inherit the Jewish legacy (Rom. 2:28-29, Gal. 3:26-29). If you are a believer, you cannot be consistent with the whole of Scripture and take a passive position toward the Jews and Israel. Scripture declares there will come a time when all the nations of the world will turn against Israel (Zech. 12:1-14) As Christian’s it is our responsibility to make Jews our priority because God has. (Firmisrael.org)”

Living in today’s daunting times, we as Christian’s know that end time prophecies will be and are unfolding before our eyes. Deuteronomy 32:43 says—“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people … He will provide atonement for His land and His people.” We know how this ends, but what are we going to do about having courage and standing united with Israel?
